Quincy area fundraising

Let the Quincy Gems help your team, club, or organization make some money this summer!

Quincy Gems are aware that in these difficult economic times, it has become harder for non-profit groups, school groups/sports, little league teams and other to raise money for their cause. Quincy Gems are proud to announce two exciting programs to help these groups this summer.

1. Organizations and groups can register with the Gems to pre-sell general admission tickets at the regular $4. price to a specific scheduled home game of the Gems this summer and earn 50% of the pre-sale of these tickets. Quincy Gems will then make a big check presentation to the group just prior to the game that they sold, in an on-field presentation.*
   
   * A final selling date will be set in relation to the designated home game in which all profits and unsold tickets will be turned back in to the Gems office for final accounting of your fundraising efforts. The Gems will then present your group with a check during the designated home game that reflects your profits from the ticket sales.
   
2. Game day program sales. Organizations/groups can register to sell game programs this year at each home game and earn 50% of the sales of the 50¢ program. A new game day program is being designed and printed that will have player interviews and Quincy baseball history in it throughout the season. The new community program endeavor is made possible through sponsorships by Gully Trucking and RTD Office Equipment, who along with the Quincy Gems want to help these community groups.

Interested groups can call the Gems office at the Oakley Lindsay Center at 217-223-1000 Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. to see if you qualify and to register for a available game days for either of these community funding programs.
