CICL players go under the scouting microscope. Virtually every organization is professional baseball sends scouts and scouting supervisors into CICL Country for a thorough evaluation of every player on every team.

And the CICL uses "real" wooden bats - just like the professionals use. Pitchers can jam powerful sluggers with inside fastballs...stellar defensive plays take on added dramatic importance, as do the bunt, the steal and the hit-and-run...and a blast over the fence is never 'cheap.'
